Alone in the Park

My sister was going to class, and I had a bright idea.  The park is pretty close, so I figured while she was patiently suffering a monotonous lecture, I’d have fun snapping some pictures.  It was 9am, and I walked around for maybe 20 minutes before I decided I didn’t really like being alone.  So I went in the library, sat down to check up on some gluten-free books, and an hour later headed back out when there were mothers walking with their kids, and a lotof dog owners with their dogs.  But as long mothers are around, things feel quite a bit safer. Yay.
T’was a good thing indeed that I headed back out when I did, for if I hadn’t I would have missed that cute, furry little squirrel.  I got pretty lucky.  I saw the lil guy munching away on whatever it is that they eat, and I inched closer, and closer, and closerr, and he stops to stare into my eyes very suspiciously.  I stop and stand still, and he goes back to munching happily.  Good to know there are creatures out that don’t perceive me as a threat.  Squirrels are smarter than some humans.

Was feeling a bit girly, more than usual, and decided t’was a good day to put some purple eye shadow on.  I’m usually too lazy to do anything more than eyeliner, and if I didn’t feel so blah without eyeliner I wouldn’t even bother with that.

A Tiny Burst of Color

I passed by this lip gloss several times in WalMart.  Unlike my sister, for myself I find that chocolate mostly trumps make up.  Unless it’s eyeliner we’re talking about and I’ve gone through all of mine.  But I already have 5 tubes of lip gloss, although 3 are really close to the finish line.  I was going to wait until they were tossed in the bin before buying another, but my sisters coaxing and the lovely color got a bit tough to pass up.  It pretty much begged to go home with me.

I much rather like the color.  My sister has the lipstick, which is really nice, but lipstick doesn’t stick with me.  It’s not too light, but not as hot as the Boots No7 Lip Gloss.   It’s also not as sticky as the Boots, and although I’ve noticed other people hate stickiness, since my hair hardly ever gets in my face, the sticky works for me.  It lasts longer.  This doesn’t last as long on its own, but definitely lasts longer than Rimmel.  I’m so done with Rimmel.  I apologize deeply, Your Majesty.  I used a light coat of the sheer Boots lip gloss before applying the Revlon, and made it through lunch.  And I had a lot for lunch.

Apparently some peeps over at Makeup Alley said they had glitter that was gritty, but I got lucky in that mine was regular and superfine.  Maybe the first few batches that were produced were sucky?

Or, Revlon likes me.

Yes, it’s all about me.

Blossoms of Some Sort

I was holding this branch down slightly so that I could focus in properly, when my sister came out and laughed at me.  I’m writing this down so that I remember forever to hold a grudge.  Or something of the sort.  Actually, I think I just felt the urge to babble about something.  Yes, that’s more like it.  I apologize for wasting your time.  And my time too.
