Strawberry Sauce

1 1/4 cups water
2 tablespoons corn starch
5 oz sugar
2 cups strawberries
2 tablespoons cherry concentrate

In 1/4 cup of water, stir in the corn starch to dissolve.

Removes the stems from the strawberries and slice them in half.

In a saucepan over high heat, add remaining water, corn starch mixture, sugar and 1/2 cup strawberries.  With a wooden spoon, stir together, making sure the sugar dissolves.

Bring to a boil, and turn the heat off.  Stir in cherry concentrate and remaining strawberries.

Notes:
For a more clear sauce, do not add cherry concentrate.
For a more red sauce, use 1 cup cranberry juice or 2 tablespoons cranberry concentrate.
For a thinner sauce, use only 1 tablespoon corn starch.
Instead of strawberries, you can use frozen blueberries or mixed berries.
