The Great Dictator, done before the Holocaust, was a parody on Adolph Hitler.  Adenoid Hynkel the dictator of Tomania, and the story of a humble Jewish barber were both played Chaplin.  At the end the barber was mistaken to be Hynkel, and is made to give a speech.  So he doesVery interesting to actually hear Chaplin speak, by the way!  I’ve only seen his actions, and I thought he didn’t have movies where he spoke.  It was quite nice until the Hannah part, but that’s just because I’m confused by that.
